Derby's Health-Testing: 

OFA Cardiac (2/2007)-NORMAL-No Murmur detected (Cardiologist).  BX-CA1331/22F/C-PI

Cardiologist Echo (2/2008)-NORMAL Flow Rate (Aortic Valve):  1.6  m/sec                            Pulmonic Valve Flow Rate-NORMAL 1.2 m/sec  No SAS or abnormalities seen on Echo.        (Charla Jones, DVM, MS Diplomate ACVIM Specialty-Cardiology). 

24 hour Holter monitor (1/2008) revealed 78 VPC's (no runs or pairs) and 7 Ventricular Escaped Beats.  The Cardiologist (Charla Jones, DVM) says that this suggests she may have myocardial disease or could be due to inflammation, electrolyte or endocrine abnormalities (low thyroid levels).                                                                                                                                                       24 hour Holter monitor (5/2008)-GOOD revealed only 1 VPC (no runs or pairs) -Her arrhythmia issues resolved once thyroid levels were normalized with medication.  Thank you Dr. Jones for all of your help.  

PennHIP-GOOD (Left DI 0.44/Right DI 0.36).

OFA Thyroid:  (2008) Idiopathically reduced thyroid function / Negative for Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAA).  Charla Jones, DVM has placed Derby on Levothyroxine to treat her Hypothyroidism and restore her body to its normal functioning.
